Amandine Bonneau, Stylist & Colourist

Amandine had been drawn to the world of fashion and had had a pronounced taste for beautiful materials from a very early age so no one was surprised when she decided to study to become a stylist. She has a BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur - a two-year post baccalaureate diploma) in fashion and a Masters in Applied Arts with a specialization in colour and trends. She did work experience with such companies as 'Nelly Rod' -the famous Parisian stylists - 'Alchemie' (trends, cosmetics and perfumes) and 'Tanneur & Cie' etc. These fantastic opportunities helped hone her sense of style and sensitivity to trend.
In 2012, a year after she had completed her studies, Amandine created her own label called "Méri-Li" to present her vision of women's clothing.

Méri-Li represents the timeless femininity of a charmed world in which elegance meets refinement. Simple cuts outline the silhouette, with fluidity being the key word. Structured lines are softened by her clever use of fabric; plain colours are mixed with floral prints that bringing gracefulness to each piece.
Méri-Li adds subtle, delicate notes with the addition of ribbons, braid and lace in line with France's rich fashion past. Her collection can be visited at her showroom by appointment or at salons and textile events throughout Aquitaine.

Inherently drawn to beautiful fabrics, Amandine also seeks out exciting materials, tracking them down in antique shop and markets, to enhance her pieces such as antique lace dating from Napoleon III to the early nineteenth century. Amandine has a sharp eye for detail and trimmings and such treasures are used with care. Méri-Li is consequently a collection worthy of the savoir-faire and quality represented by the label, Made in France.
