Version Française

RAZAC DE SAUSSIGNAC is a wine-producing village, which is located on the southern slopes of the valley of Dordogne, in the canton of Sigoulès, seven km from Sainte Foy la Grande, 20 km from Bergerac, 20 km from Eymet.
It gets it name (Razac) partly from the Roman era. An important Gallo-Roman villa extended over the Négreauds plateau... but also, in the more recent past, because during the 19th century, the parish of Razac was attached to Saussignac.

Today, it has 363 inhabitants
(official population on January 1, 2013). This small village, by its varied landscapes, hilly terrain, the amount of sunshine on its slopes, and also the quality of its viewpoints, the proximity of Sainte Foy la Grande and of Bergerac etc... attracts a few more inhabitants each year.
